The Benefits of Jewelry Making

Posted by Adana Collins on

Jewelry making is always thought of as something that adults and professionals do, but it is hardly ever thought of as a healing activity that is beneficial for adults and children.  It not only improves fine motor skills, and visual motor skills, but it also helps to increase cognitive skills that gives the creator a sense of accomplishment and self worth. For others it is relaxing and helps to relieve stress.  Some describe the act of making jewelry as a meditative process in which they feel connected to the creator.
So grab some tools, and make a bracelet or two that you can keep for yourself or give to a loved one.  Consider taking a jewelry making class with a friend and/or loved one.  It will only increase your health benefits.
